Vancouver's Urban Forestry Program aims to maximize the environmental, social, and economic benefits that trees provide to city residents and visitors. We focus on preserving, managing, and enhancing existing trees and other vegetation while also promoting the reforestation of the urban area. Read More"Since 1988, ReLeaf Michigan has organized the planting of nearly 30,000 trees across the state. ReLeaf Michigan collaborates its tree plantings with neighborhood organizations, communities, service organizations and schools, sharing cost on a 50-50 basis to promote ownership of both the planting and the ongoing care. Funding from our members and sponsors allows ReLeaf Michigan to work directly with the residents and the municipality on the design and execution of the planting, as well as purchase the plant material.
